Learn Recycle is an Australian child-led educational recycling app designed mainly for children aged 3 to 8. It is free to download, simple to use and built to help young children learn waste sorting through scanning, play and friendly feedback.

Kiaan’s Vision

A Standard Part of Early Childhood Education

Learn Recycle was created by Kiaan, a young Australian student who began developing the idea when he was around eight years old. His goal was never just to create an app.

Kiaan wants Learn Recycle to become a standard part of early childhood and primary sustainability education across Australia — used in every day care centre, preschool and early primary classroom as a simple, free tool that helps children understand recycling from their earliest years.

That vision drives every update, every improvement and every partnership conversation.
